Dinesh is someone whose work I like and admire but he is also someone who I love. This work is like Din himself, it seems quiet but it is strong, humorous, articulate, full of musical and literate references, but most importantly it is passionate and honest. Stories told from personal experience allowing us the listener/reader to share wonderous times of love, romance, pain, sorrow, fun, to travel with Din, to be part of his life. Din exposes himself to us and in doing so we see bits of ourselves and feel safer knowing that other people laugh and cry at the same things as us and feel the same in this passionless, isolated time - we are not alone when we read Din's work, we are part of the world that Din sees and we are his neighbours and friends.
